Assignments
These are assignments that I'm asked to do for 3-D Design.
#1 was creating this blog and publishing images in my Main Page that represent me.
#2 is to create a personal icon based off of one of my images. The materials I should use is cardboard, paper, and tape:
Prototypes:
The Real Deal:
The letter "D" represents me because of my first initial, how red is my favorite color, and how I believe red goes well with lime green and purple.
#3 is to create a different-scaled maquette that closely represents an existing object:
My maquette:
Improved:
My inspiration:
This flask keychain was once a souvenir to my grandfather, my mom's dad.
Assignment #4 (Create a maquette, consisting of one or more objects, using both positive and negative space):
My Creation (Done with the help of my mom):
Without the red lens:
My Inspiration:
The maquette was inspired by a picture of Stan Lee, God rest his soul, and several Marvel characters that were placed in a pointillism kind of way.
Assignment #5 (Organic Motion):
The Birth Race:
Inspired by the sperm/egg
Assignment #6 (Visual Rhythm):
I like the way your flask came out, the curved sides look like they'd be difficult to do, but it turned out really well!

The floating sperm in your Birth Race piece is really cool, I like that it has a kind of "frame" with the cardboard!
